What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job?
I bring an eye for detail that’s almost obsessive, and the ability to understand the consumer journey. Plus, my 40+ years in the advertising industry don’t hurt!

Name three words that describe you.
Meticulous, Creative, Fun-loving.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my grandson. He’s the light of my life. I also get a strange amount of joy from cleaning and organizing. There’s nothing like the satisfaction of a well-organized closet or a spotless kitchen!

What would be your personal motto?
A place for everything and everything in its place – both in life and advertising.

What’s a brush with fame you’ve had? Famous person/Celebrity you’ve bumped into?
I once had the pleasure of meeting Warren Buffett at a charity event in Omaha. I was a bit starstruck but managed to keep my cool. His wisdom and down-to-earth nature left a lasting impression on me.

What’s the worst piece of advice you’ve been given?
The worst advice I’ve ever been given was to play it safe and stick to traditional methods. Where’s the fun in that? Innovation and taking risks are what make this industry exciting and successful. Besides, cleaning out the cobwebs of old ideas is just as satisfying as cleaning a cluttered closet!
